Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there! I hope you’re being spoiled and enjoying this Sunday with loved ones. I for one am heading to my parents to spend time with my mom ❤️ . I’m extremely lucky to have a pretty excellent mother. But, if I couldn’t have my own, here’s a few who I think would be a quite stellar mom’s instead:
Marge Simpson from The Simpson’s
Amongst her family’s crazy antics, Marge provides a voice of reason and is what grounds her family. Marge maintains order and as someone who likes order, I think I’d enjoy that!
Mrs Weasley (or really all the mom’s in Harry Potter)
Mrs Weasley is the best mom. She loves her children and will do anything to protect them. Not having a lot of money, Mrs Weasley did the best she could for years to provide an excellent home for her children at the Burrow. She also takes Harry in without question and becomes the only true mother figure he has in his life.
But there’s also Lily Potter who sacrifices herself for young Harry, protecting him for years to come and Narcissa Malfoy who lies to Voldemort in one of the most crucial moments of the entire story in order to ensure Draco’s safety. Both of these women loved their children more than anything else.
Elastigirl from The Incredibles
Elastigirl or Helen Parr gives up her secret identity to protect and raise her family. Elastigirl is a supermom. She uses her superpowers and natural motherhood abilities to unify and protect her family. A cool mom with superpowers, yes please!
Mrs Bennet from Pride & Prejudice
Mrs Bennet can be a little much at times, but there’s one thing for certain: she loves and will do almost anything to help her daughters. Throwing her daughters at a strong of wealthy suitors, I wouldn’t say no to that 😊
Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore Girls
Lorelai and Rory aren’t just mother and daughter, they’re best friends. Lorelai is the cool and charming mom, who more than a few others on this list, understands Rory and exactly what she’s going through. Their relationship is so strong and I can’t wait to see them again on my TV screen.
Happy Mother’s Day! Is there anyone I missed who’d be on your list? Let me know in the comments.
Till next time!
