Happy Friday fangirls & fanboys! To celebrate this fabulous day, the start of the glorious weekend, I am going to participate in a Five Fandom Friday Challenge! What is FFF you ask? It’s a weekly challenge created by bloggers The Nerdy Girlie & Super Space Chick to come up with a top 5 list to fit a geeky-theme. My Fangirl Life doesn’t necessarily do it every week, but sometimes we want to hang out with the cool kids & join in the fun KG previously named Fictional Spin-Offs We Want Created, while this week’s challenge is “Crossovers That Would Cause My Heart to Explode”. Challenge Accepted! I decided to step a bit outside the box and present you with some seldom hoped for but totally legit killer crossover ideas:
1. Thor & Frozen
Or The Avengers & Frozen… that would be ok too, but the whole purpose of this is to get Thor & Elsa together. I think they’d be an ideal couple, one of my top random OTPs. One day I might even write a whole post explaining why the Norse God & Queen of Arendelle should be set up on a the most epic of blind dates, but for now I’ll let you build your own ideas on the subject. Plus Loki & Anna would have an excellent time playing tricks on everyone.
2. Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” Music Video & Mortal Kombat
It’s a brand new fighting game, marketed to a wholly different audience! Instead of your classic Mortal Kombat characters (oh, Johnny Cage) you can now battle as the various vixens introduced in Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood video. Who would win in a fight: Catastrophe or Arsyn? Knockout or Homeslice? The Trinity or Mother Chucker? With this game you could find out… Plus, after all of that lead-up of introducing each of the characters, there’s got to be more to it than a fight scene that doesn’t actually happen!
3. Supernatural & Inside Out
Just try to tell me you aren’t curious what it’s like inside Dean’s head in Season 10. Or ever for that matter. Do demons manifest in there as another little person, battling the emotions until Joy is chained up in the corner and Anger is running the show? Or is it more like an illness poisoning the “good” emotions & strengthening the “bad”? This crossover would be gripping television.
4. One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” Music Video & Armageddon
Our favourite troop of adorable hunks released their brand new music video this morning. It features the British boy band training for a NASA space mission. But why? Why is One Direction blasting into orbit? Is it an exploratory mission? Maybe they’re laising with aliens? (Because obviously these charming cuties would make an excellent first impression or the human race) Or has a catastrophe occurred that requires 1D’s specific set of skills to solve? Like the oil riggers needing to destroy the asteroid in Armageddon! Let’s get a major studio on this crossover ASAP.
5. Disney & Literally Any Reality Show
Can you imagine how enjoyable it would be to watch your childhood favourites pitted head-to-head in a variety of competitions? Who can Outwit, Outplay & Outlast on Survivor? Obviously a villain, although they might not win the end vote. Which Princess really does have the best voice? Find out on this season of American Idol: Princess Edition. Or how about mixing up those stale pairings with a season of Disney’s Bachelor? After all, most of the ladies were only 15 when they met the “love of their lives”… their tastes might have changed as they matured.
Although, in the end I love when anything crosses over with anything… I mean double the nerdy fun can’t be wrong, right? But I want to know what you think… What crossovers are you dying to see? Did any of my ideas inspire a burning desire for a crossover that will never be quenched? Let me know in the comments!
Love & Luck,
