Kris and Justine have already both done posts about our time at IGGPPC Summer Camp this week and I thought I’d join in the fun! For more information about the online festivities taking place, check out Kris’s post I’m A Happy Camper.
I’ve been a little busier than planned and have been able to take part in less events than I would like, but I am finding my first experience at Summer Camp fascinating and fun! Today I decided to do the daily craft challenge: making a t-shirt into a tote bag, no sewing required! Check out how it went below.
I pulled out an old Taylor Swift concert tee that had gone through the wash with something a tad too colourful at some point. I never wear it because of the splotches on the neckline, but this craft seemed like the perfect opportunity to repurpose it and get rid of the stained area! Check out this photo collage to follow along:
Now wasn’t that easy? You can even decorate with all sorts of fun craft supplies, but since my t-shirt already had, you know, Taylor’s face on it, I decided not to add anything. This is such a fun and simple craft that you can do with almost any age (just make sure they’re ok to use scissors!). What a fun way to make use of old t-shirts!
